Refund & Cancellation Policy

How we handle refunds and cancellations for paid Secureefy subscriptions.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms on which Havteq Solutions Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us") issues refunds and processes cancellations for paid subscriptions to Secureefy (Secureefy Scan and Secureefy Backup). It supplements Section 4 of our Terms of Service, and governs for refund and cancellation matters specifically.
1. How billing works
Secureefy subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected at checkout. Payments are processed securely through our payment gateways, Razorpay and PayPal — we do not receive or store your full card, UPI, or bank details. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise; PayPal payments may be converted to USD at the prevailing rate. Unless cancelled before the renewal date, your subscription renews automatically.
2. Refund eligibility
We want you to be satisfied with Secureefy. If you are not, you may request a refund under the following conditions:
- Refund window: requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase or the most recent renewal charge, whichever is later.
- Reasonable use: you have not consumed more than a reasonable portion of the plan's included usage (for example, scans run, AI credits used, or backup storage consumed) during the billing period in question.
- Both an initial purchase and a subsequent renewal charge are individually eligible if the request is made within 30 days of that specific charge and the reasonable-use condition is met.
Eligible refunds are reviewed and, where approved, issued at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis. Requesting a refund does not guarantee one will be issued. No refund will be issued for any request made more than 30 days after the relevant charge.
3. Non-refundable circumstances
- Requests made after the 30-day window.
- Subscriptions where a substantial portion of the plan's included usage has already been consumed for the billing period.
- The unused remainder of a billing period after you cancel — access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use.
- One-time add-ons, top-ups, or usage-based overage charges that have already been fulfilled.
- Payment gateway fees, currency-conversion charges, or bank charges on the original transaction, which are outside our control.
4. How to request a refund
Email info@havteq.com from the email registered to your account, with the subject line "Refund Request", including: your registered account email and invoice/order number if available, the date of the charge, the payment method used (Razorpay and PayPal), and a brief reason. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to provide a decision within 5 business days of receiving all needed information.
5. Refund method & processing time
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction; we cannot refund to a different method or account.

Actual timing depends on your bank or payment provider and is measured from when we approve and initiate the refund.
6. Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel at any time from your account's billing settings, or by emailing info@havteq.com. Cancellation stops future renewals — it does not by itself trigger a refund of the current period. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period already paid for; no prorated refund is issued for the unused remainder except where the cancellation also qualifies under Section 2.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal charge fails, we and/or our payment gateway may retry the charge and will attempt to notify you by email so you can update your payment method. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be downgraded or suspended until a successful payment is made.
