Setting up the desktop app

Get Secureefy Backup running on Mac or Windows.

Secureefy Backup runs natively on macOS 14+ and Windows 10/11 with full feature parity. The desktop apps are in early access — request access and we'll get you onboarded.

Once you have the app:

1. Sign in and set your encryption passphrase — this derives your key on-device.
2. Choose folders to protect and a schedule.
3. Connect one or more cloud destinations.

Your passphrase never leaves your device and cannot be recovered by us — store it safely.
